Bulgaria - 2026 Dates TBD!

Southeast Christian Church will send a team to Bulgaria to partner with Josiah Venture, a ministry focused on equipping the next generation of leaders for Christ. Bulgaria is a country where evangelical believers make up less than 2% of the population, and yet there is a growing openness among students who are eager for genuine relationships and purpose. Our team will join JV staff and local churches to serve through youth camps and outreach programs—using English, sports, music, and small group discussions as bridges to connect with young people. Alongside these activities, we’ll have the privilege of encouraging local church leaders and helping them continue discipleship long after camp ends. This mission trip is about more than just a week of ministry; it’s about investing in Bulgaria’s young generation, strengthening the local church, and allowing God to deepen our own faith as we serve.

There are a few requirements to attend this trip.

1. Complete a Southeast Volunteer Application sent to you by Short-Term Missions.

2. Complete the online MinistrySafe training supplied by Short-Term Missions via email link.

3. All trips require a deposit, which is non-refundable. The IRS considers all monies going towards a mission trip as a charitable donation. To comply with IRS guidelines, we are unable to refund any monies submitted.

4. Once registration opens, you may begin fundraising. Please be aware, at no time are donations refundable. They are considered charitable contributions by the IRS, and as such, can not be refunded.

5. All passports must be valid six (6) months after return date. If your passport will be expiring within that time frame, it will need to be renewed ASAP. 

6. Most common food allergens: cows milk/dairy in items such as sirens and kashkavel cheeses; tree nuts/peanuts; eggs.
